AI charter
How our assistant Isko works, what it does with your messages, and where the site uses generated images.
Why this charter
We use artificial intelligence to answer your first questions on the website. It is the Isko assistant you see at the bottom of the page. We would rather tell you exactly how it works, what we keep and what we do not do. No jargon, just the facts.
The model used
Model: Claude Haiku 5.5 (technical reference: claude-haiku-5-5)
Provider: Anthropic (a US company, with data centres in the United States)
Use: only to reply in the Isko chat window
Personality: Isko receives a system prompt that briefs it on OSOM (services, tone, positioning); we are the ones who calibrate it
Transparency: Isko is a conversational assistant, not a person. If you ask what it is, it tells you that it runs on Claude Haiku 5.5. Nobody on our side reads the conversation live; to talk to someone, use the contact form
What happens when you write to Isko
- Your message goes from your browser to our servers (Vercel)
- We send it to the Anthropic API together with the OSOM system prompt
- Claude Haiku 5.5 generates a reply, streamed as it is written
- The reply comes back to you live in the chat window
- The conversation is kept in your browser’s session storage, so you can find it again if you reload the page. It disappears when you close the tab, and is sent nowhere other than in the exchanges described above
What we store (and what we do not)
We do not store
- The content of your conversations with Isko
- Your messages in an OSOM database
- Any profile built from your exchanges
We store temporarily (in server memory, until the next deployment)
- Your IP address, solely to apply the anti-abuse limits
On Anthropic’s side
Anthropic processes your message to generate the reply. Under its terms, API data is not used to retrain its models. Details of its policy: anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
Technical limits
- 3 messages per minute per IP address, to prevent abuse
- 15 messages per conversation at most; beyond that, Isko suggests switching to a person through the contact form
- Short replies: Isko is capped at 1,024 tokens per reply, including the model's reasoning, and answers in a few sentences
- If access to the model is not configured, the window shows “Service temporarily unavailable”. If the reply fails or stops, before the first word, midway, or after 20 seconds without any sign of life, the partial text is removed from the thread and the message “The reply was interrupted, please try again in a moment.” appears below the conversation, with a button to resend your message. When an error occurs, we log the error type and its HTTP code, never the content of the exchange
What we do not do
- We do not sell your messages; we do not even store them
- We do not use your conversations to train an OSOM model
- We do not share your IP address beyond internal rate limiting
- Isko does not make automated decisions on your behalf (within the meaning of the GDPR)
Your rights
As we do not store the content, there is nothing to delete on OSOM’s side. If you would still like to write to us about it, we are available:
- To talk to a person instead of Isko, use the /contact form
- For any question about this charter: hello@osom.ch
- For data collected through the forms (outside Isko): see our privacy policy (in French)
Images on this site
The site shows the real thing first: screenshots of delivered websites, documents, photographs. We use AI-generated images in only a few places, and we say so every time.
Where we use them
- The posters of the Explore journal, at the top of each article, on the index and in their share cards. A poster illustrates the idea of an article; it proves nothing. They carry the caption “Generated poster · art direction by OSOM Labs”
- The share card of the AI visibility page, a poster in the same style, with the same caption
- The short videos on the home page, captioned “Generated works · directed by OSOM Labs”
- The setting of some mockups on the portfolio pages: the website or poster shown is the one we delivered; the room or desk around it is generated. Each view is labelled “Mockup”
- Isko’s portrait: it is a generated image, not a photograph
Where we never use them
- As proof: the figures, screenshots and testimonials in our case studies come from the projects themselves
- To show a deliverable or a document in place of the real one
- To depict a person: the team portraits are photographs
The originals
Since October 2026, we keep the original of each poster as it was produced, outside the site, with its date and the instruction that produced it. The published version is a copy optimised for the web: it no longer carries the original metadata, hence the caption on screen.
Changes
If we change the model, add storage or modify the limits, we update this page and state the date below. No small print.
